Who we are
Wells Branch Wild Conservancy is a dedicated, all-volunteer non-profit that strives to inspire and engage the Wells Branch—Austin, Texas, community in caring for a healthy, sustainable ecosystem.

Our Impact
Wells Branch Wild is rooted in community action, education, and hands-on conservation.
Expanding Wildlife Habitats
In 2025 we added 46 certified properties, representing about 4 acres of wildlife habitat, including certifications for Wells Branch Elementary and the Wells Branch Community Library.
Restoring Native Habitats
In 2025 we removed invasive species during the spring and fall Keep Wells Branch Beautiful events. We maintained a dedicated volunteer team to remove Dodder near St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church.
Educating and Empowering the Community
In 2025 we hosted 8 presentations on wildlife, sustainability, and environmental topics, and organized 6 field trips ranging from feeding baby purple martins to experiencing forest bathing.
Building a Stronger, Greener Community
In 2025 we distributed 800 native plants at our spring native plant sale, expanded our board from 5 to 11 members,
celebrated volunteers, sponsors, and participants at our Community Celebration, and offered a sustainable holiday craft at the Luminary Festival.
